ESG Strategy for Tourism & Hospitality

From Pacific island resorts to Antarctic expeditions, sustainable tourism isn't optional, it's the foundation of long-term success in an industry built on natural beauty and authentic experiences.

Tourism and hospitality operators face unique sustainability challenges. You're often located in the world's most fragile environments, coastal areas, islands, mountain regions, and wilderness destinations, where the impacts of climate change are most visible and urgent.

At the same time, your guests increasingly expect authentic sustainability. They want to know their visit contributes positively to local communities and ecosystems. ESG Strategy helps tourism and hospitality businesses turn these challenges into competitive advantages.

    The Sustainability Challenge for Tourism

Tourism operators must balance commercial success with environmental stewardship and community impact.

    Climate Vulnerability

Operating in destinations increasingly affected by extreme weather, rising seas, and changing ecosystems.

    Waste and Circular Economy

Managing plastic waste, food waste, and single-use items, particularly in remote or island locations.

    Guest Expectations

Meeting growing demand for authentic sustainability from conscious travellers and corporate clients.

    Greenwashing Risk

Ensuring sustainability claims are credible and backed by genuine operational change.
