    1. Policy Statement

    ESG Strategy Pty Ltd is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. We believe that the health, safety, and wellbeing of our people is fundamental to our success as an organisation and aligns with the ESG principles we advocate.

    2. Scope

    This policy applies to all employees, contractors, clients, and visitors at any ESG Strategy workplace, including home offices and client sites. It covers physical health, mental health, and psychological safety.

    3. Our Commitments

    ESG Strategy is committed to:

    • Safe Work Environment: Providing and maintaining safe work premises, equipment, and systems of work.
    • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace hazards and risks.
    • Mental Health: Supporting the mental health and psychological wellbeing of all team members.
    • Training: Providing appropriate health and safety training and information.
    • Consultation: Consulting with workers on health and safety matters that affect them.
    • Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and improving our health and safety practices.

    4. Physical Health & Safety

    We maintain safe physical workplaces through:

    • Ergonomic workstation assessments and equipment
    • Regular workplace inspections
    • Emergency procedures and first aid provisions
    • Safe work practices for travel and client site visits
    • Appropriate insurance coverage for all work activities

    5. Mental Health & Wellbeing

    We support mental health and wellbeing through:

    • Promoting work-life balance and flexible working arrangements
    • Maintaining reasonable workloads and clear expectations
    • Providing access to mental health resources and support
    • Training leaders to recognise and respond to mental health concerns
    • Creating an open culture where mental health can be discussed without stigma
    • Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, and discrimination

    6. Remote & Hybrid Working

    As a modern consultancy supporting flexible work arrangements, we provide guidance and support for safe home office setups, including ergonomic assessments and equipment allowances. We encourage regular breaks, movement, and clear boundaries between work and personal time.

    7. Incident Reporting

    All workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and hazards must be reported immediately. We investigate all incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. There is no penalty for reporting safety concerns in good faith.

    8. Responsibilities

    Leadership: Responsible for implementing this policy, providing resources, and leading by example.

    All Workers: Responsible for taking reasonable care for their own health and safety, following safe work procedures, and reporting hazards and incidents.

    9. Compliance

    This policy complies with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), relevant state and territory WHS legislation, and associated codes of practice. We review this policy annually to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
