Announcement – Book Launch

📚 Big Announcement! 🎉 I'm absolutely thrilled to share that my first book will be published later this year! It's a major milestone for me, as I've just reached 35,000 words in my rough draft. This book is the culmination of my 20 years of sustainability experience, condensed into 15 chapters focused on building impactful sustainability/ESG strategies.

The writing journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and now I'm in search of an exceptional copywriter to help me refine the manuscript. My aim is to launch this book at COP28 in Dubai this December, where I'll be sharing valuable insights and practical advice to assist organisations in developing sustainable and ESG-driven practices and strategies that work.

Although the book is still a work in progress, with the final title yet to be determined, there's still much more work to be done.

Here's a sneak peek of the outline:

Lee Stewart ESG Strategy

"For centuries, companies have prioritised profits at the expense of our environment and

society. But now, a paradigm shift is underway. It's time for businesses to embrace sustainability and prioritise their relationship with nature and society. Drawing upon my 20 years of corporate sustainability experience, this book offers valuable insights and lessons learned. Discover how to build a credible Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy that aligns with your organisation's goals and aspirations. With simple terminology and actionable steps, you'll gain a solid foundation to develop your own ESG strategy.

Throughout the book, I'll share personal stories, including my journey from founding a startup In Australia to securing my dream job in sustainability at Fujitsu and later running a team of climate change and strategy consultants. I've also had the privilege of serving as the Head of Sustainability for Fonterra, New Zealand's largest company, and now I work as an independent ESG and Sustainability strategy consultant, collaborating with listed companies such as The Briscoe Group and leading projects such as the Zero Waste Strategy and vision for the Kingdom of Tonga.
