
Mark Lyster
Founding Director
Mark Lyster, a founding director with over 25 years of experience in sustainability strategy, sustainable finance, and ESG risk management, and has developed responsible investment frameworks and ESG systems for leading financial institutions like CBA, ANZ, IAG, Aphinity Investment Management and Colonial First State. He has also advised companies in sectors such as mining, agriculture, and logistics. He co-founded Action Sustainability Asia Pacific, later acquired by KPMG, where he led projects on ESG strategy, human rights, climate risk, and modern slavery.

Mark's leadership roles at KPMG, EY, and Net Balance, combined with his development banking experience at the Development Bank of Southern Africa and Standard Corporate & Merchant Bank, underline his expertise. He also co-chaired the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia’s Human Rights and Digital Tech & Human Rights Working Groups.
